Burke, known for his award-winning eateries and stints on the popular show "Top Chef," opened Red Horse by David Burke in White Plains inside the Opus Westchester in White Plains at 221 Main St. (Route 119) in late March.
The restaurant, which is both a steakhouse and a sushi bar, mixes American and Japanese cuisine and also serves up cocktails, wine, and a collection of delectable desserts.
The eatery's dinner menu offers both dry-aged and wet-aged steak, in addition to mains such as bison short ribs with chow fun noodles, crispy "Johnny Hong Kong" lobster served with Singapore chili sauce, and the Red Horse David Burke cheeseburger.
Those looking for Asian-inspired items will likely be satisfied by the eatery's sushi bar, which serves a variety of sushi rolls, nigiri and sashimi, and sushi combos.
After the main courses are brought out, visitors can then finish their experience with dessert options such as a chocolate chip waffle banana split, vanilla bean creme brulee, or jasmine macerated fruit and berries.
